A strong café type ambiance at the outside seating and an informal elegance inside. Table and seating design is open and friendly. A wonderful mixture of the old Mosaic and Amoré that reflects the quaintness of Mosaic, the Mediterranean style of Amoré and Italian classic. "Featuring a Mediterranean bistro style menu and a simple, elegant setting, Café Vicino is a perfect choice for a flavorful and satisfying lunch or dinner any time." So true. | Food presentation is wonderful. The dishes are presented well balanced with color and talent. | Food quality is excellent and prepared fresh. They use a wonderful Basil Cream sauce with skewered shrimp that is delightful. The seafood is fresh and the pastas are done to perfection. The salads are extremely good. The crispy polenta is a delightful change from potatoes or standard rice dishes. | Service is good. Although, it may be slow at times. But, on the other hand, the waite staff is anxious for you to enjoy your meal, so they do not rush one through their dinner. Take your time and enjoy the meal. | Costs for appetizers range from $6.00 to $10.00. Soups and salads are separate. The entreés range from $18.00 to $28.00 and the pastas from $13.00 to $15.00.
