And then, on Saturday, 15 July, we left for Silver City
and the Idaho Hotel. What a delightful time we had.
Silver City, Idaho is deep in the Owyhee Mountains,
about 70 miles south and east of Boise. It is a historic
gold and silver mining town. The buildings that you will
see here, and their interiors, are original.

The sign says it all.

Lucky we're still on what they loosely call “a road”.

Hi 'ya “Trigger”!

I don't think that's Roy.

Actually, “Whistler” is a descendant of “Trigger”. You
know - Roy Rogers fame.

City park. There was a building here at one time that
burned down. A Haight cousin may have lived here.
