The ambiance is subdued and is geared more for the adult crowd. Soft colors and soft music. | Food presentation is very pleasing. There is some design to the presentation. The presentation is not over done. | The quality is superb. The tilapia tastes like a fresh water fish - Gout de Terrior. And the shrimp tasted like the Song of the Sea - Chansons del Mare. That is very difficult to do in Boise. | Service was excellent. The Waite staff was friendly and helpful. | The cost was in line with the quality. My appetizer, Bang Bang Shrimp, was $9.90; the Diablo Shrimp Fettuccini was $14.90 while the Long Fin Talapia was $17.20. The desserts, Key Lime Pie and Creme Brulee were good, but not exceptional. | 1/2 I am in a quandry here ... I'd love to go to a 4-Star rating, but just can't quite seem to do it. The reason: Everything that we ordered came with a fairly spicy sauce, and lots of sauce. Cut back on the spice and amount of sauce, and I will give it 4-Stars. But that's very subjective. We will return to Bonefish Grill. It was good! There are photos and more comments on our visit at Boise Foodie Blog. |
