Stagecoach Inn and Lounge 3132 W Chinden Blvd Boise (208) 342-4161 Reservations are not accepted on weekends. Web Page |
A very Western ambiance, but a little dark. Wooden floors, western style chairs, which were a little small as were the tables, open lounge and steaks, steaks, steaks! "...Established in 1959, The Stagecoach Inn certainly a landmark. It is the oldest family owned and operated Restaurant in Boise... Known for the finest Steaks, Prime Rib and Special Prawns — peeled deveined and hand-breaded to perfection." | Food presentation is good. The plates are presented full, but not overly decorated. | The food quality is good and the taste is excellant. The steaks are prepared "just the way you want them" and juicy and succulent! | The service staff is pleasant and helpful and not over whelming. | The cost for the steaks is reasonable for the size and quality - $23.95 for a small Prime Rib, and $25.95 for a large one. Check their web site for a complete menu listing. | A great Western atmosphere to take friends and relatives. A good place to take out-of-town guests. We will return. |
